Walton Plaza officials and local guests at the award ceremony
The final match of the Sixer Set Cricket Tournament-24 was held at Kaliganj of Lalmonirhat keeping the slogan of ‘Mathe Maide Ullas Sporta Baromas’ in front.
The final phase of the tournament was held at the Kakina Mahima Ranjan Smriti High School ground under the overall supervision of Walton Plaza organized by the Kakina Cricket family of the upazila on Saturday (07 September, 2024) afternoon. Kaunia Knight Riders and Ahil 6RS Rangpur face off. Kaunia Knight Riders beat Ahil 6RS Rangpur in the tournament.
The guests awarded Walton brand refrigerator to the winning team of the tournament and Walton brand LED television to the runner up team. Kaliganj upazila executive officer Zahir Imam inaugurated the tournament on September 4. A total of 16 teams participated in the tournament.
Chief Divisional Officer of Walton Plaza Rangpur Division was present as a special guest in the event. Wahidul Islam, Credit Manager Shakeel Hossain, Headmaster of Ranjan High School Ashadujzaman and prominent social worker of Kanina Union Humayun Kabir Babu and others.
