On Wednesday night, a young man called his wife who was staying at her parental house and asked her to come home. The wife refused to come to her in-laws’ house. In anger, the young man kept the phone down and cut off his private part with a blade. His condition worsened due to bleeding and then the family came to know about it. The family took the young man and his severed body part to the hospital.
Vivek Shukla (35), a resident of Kahinjari in Rasulabad, married Soni in the nearby Kamasiya five years ago. The two started quarreling right after the marriage. Soni went to her maternal home after daily quarrels. She has been staying at her maternal home for the last one year. Vivek tried to convince her several times to come home. She did not agree to come. Vivek often visited his in-laws to make her understand. On Wednesday evening, he called his wife. The two kept talking. After shouting loudly, she disconnected the call.
