“After the amount of damage is determined, I report personally to the head of state, Vladimir Vladimirovich. We will most likely ask for financial assistance, ”Aksyonov said in a video that he posted on his Facebook page.

According to the head of the peninsula, today, before 19:00, the authorities will publish information for residents on how they can receive compensation for the damage suffered as a result of flooding. Aksenov noted that this applies to both housing and road transport.

At the same time, he pointed out that while the federal law does not specify how to pay compensation for damage caused to cars. However, the head of Crimea has already discussed this issue with the Minister of Economic Development of Russia Maxim Reshetnikov. “We will be assisted in forming normative acts,” Aksenov said.

He described the situation on the peninsula as catastrophic. The head of Crimea also expressed gratitude for the help of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Guard and the FSB.
