Miranda Media reported an attack on its information and network resources, there was also an attempt to destroy the infrastructure of the telecom operator. By Sunday, May 28, the network infrastructure was completely restored, said Ivan Zima, CEO of the company. According to him, information services “for security purposes” are only partially available.

“Understanding this, we will not stop providing communication services. Moreover, we will provide compensation to customers, the details of which will be announced a little later, additionally,” Zima said. He urged users to contact the company’s groups on social networks, as it is difficult to get through to the operator, and the site is temporarily down.

According to the press service of Miranda-Media, during a special military operation, telecommunications “are under the special eye of the enemy,” and DDoS attacks are more frequent than usual.

On May 26, the Crimean government announced that Miranda Media, the largest television operator in Crimea, had encountered an accident. Then the work of the company was planned to be restored “within a few hours.” Oleg Kryuchkov, adviser to the head of Crimea, later clarified that the accident had already been practically eliminated.

Radio stations Sputnik in Crimea and Vera were attacked by Ukrainian hackers in February, in a number of cities on the peninsula, an appeal was broadcast by the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, Kirill Budanov, and the national anthem was played, RIA Novosti reported.
