The Attorney General of Oaxaca Arrests Criminal Leader
The Attorney General of Oaxaca (FGEO) arrested Luis Bernardo N., a commander known as “Chaparro,” in the city of Saltillo, Coahuila, for the crime of Aggravated Homicide. The arrest was made in connection with a murder committed in Oaxaca de Juárez.
In addition, Bernardo N. is considered one of the leaders of a criminal cell and a major generator of violence in the Central Valleys region.
The victim was lured to a bar in San Martin Mexicapan, Oaxaca, where he was shot and killed. The Oaxaca Prosecutor’s Office reported the incident.
The Attorney General’s Office investigated the case and gathered sufficient evidence to obtain an arrest warrant. They believe Bernardo N. was involved in the murder and may have been the mastermind behind it.
The suspect was arrested in Saltillo with the collaboration of the Attorney General’s Office of Coahuila. He was then transferred to Oaxaca to face legal proceedings.
