Patna: Assembly by-elections are taking place in Bihar. NDA and Grand Alliance have fielded their candidates on all four seats. Meanwhile, Prashant Kishor’s party Jan Suraj has also fielded its candidates on all four seats. All three candidates have criminal cases registered against them. A case of kidnapping is also registered against one of these candidates. Prashant Kishore had always accused RJD of giving protection to criminals, but now his own party has also fielded similar candidates in the elections. Questions are bound to be raised among the public regarding this.

Jan Suraj Party placed its bet on him in the election field.

Jan Suraj Party has fielded its candidates on four assembly seats. These include Sushil Kumar Singh Kushwaha from Ramgarh seat of Kaimur, Mohammad Amjad from Belaganj seat of Gaya, Kiran Singh from Tarari and Jitendra Paswan from Imamganj of Gaya.

Criminal cases are registered against these candidates of Jan Suraj

Two cases are registered against Ramgarh candidate Sushil Kumar Singh. A case has been registered under sections 34, 307, 323, 341 and 504 of the IPC. The second case is registered under Section 138 and NI Act.

Similarly, a case of kidnapping and threatening has been registered against Imamganj candidate Jitendra Paswan.

Jan Suraj’s candidate from Belaganj, Mohammad Amjad, has the maximum number of 5 cases registered against him. All these cases are related to disturbing social harmony and creating riots.

Jan Suraj lagged behind in giving tickets to women!

While forming the party, Prashant Kishor had promised that 40% tickets would be given to women, but this has not been seen to happen in the by-elections. Jan Suraj has given ticket to only one woman candidate, Kiran Singh, from Tarari seat. On the other hand, NDA has fielded two women candidates. The daughter-in-law of Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi is contesting the elections from Hum Party. Whereas JDU has given ticket to Manorama Devi.
