Sitamarhi: Famous doctor Shivshankar Mahato of Sitamarhi district of Bihar is once again on the target of criminals. He has been on the target of criminals since before and still remains so. Two-three years ago also criminals had fired indiscriminately on him. He was hit by four bullets. At that time he was in his private hospital. He was fired upon while he was getting down from his car at the hospital gate at night. Luckily his life was saved. Here, he has again received a threat of blowing up his private hospital with a bomb.
Doctors are terrified by threats
Dr. Mahto is counted among the famous doctors of the city. He has his own identity. This is the reason why his name also comes among the very busy doctors. His private hospital is at Shankar Chowk (Dumra) of Nagar Nigam. Mahto received a call on his mobile threatening to blow up the hospital with a bomb. Mahto was terrified by the threat. Being terrified is also natural. Because earlier criminals had fired at him. He immediately informed SP Manoj Kumar Tiwari about the bombing incident.
Special team got success
The SP formed a special police team to arrest the criminal who threatened. With the help of technology, the police have arrested the concerned youth. The mobile and SIM card used in threatening have also been recovered from him. The miscreant has been identified as Monu Patel, a resident of Dumra in Dumra police station area. After the miscreant was caught, the police as well as Dr. Mahato are heaving a sigh of relief.
Threats at the behest of a criminal
Police sources said that Monu Patel has been to jail in the past as well. He had stabbed and injured the security guard posted at the jail superintendent’s residence. It has been learnt that Monu Patel had threatened the doctor at the behest of a criminal who is among the biggest criminals of the district. Now the police is searching for the criminal who had threatened Monu. During police interrogation, Monu has revealed the name of the criminal at whose behest he had called and threatened the doctor.
Then the doctor was hit by four bullets
In the year 2021, criminals fired at Dr. Mahto, in which he was hit by four bullets. He was treated by Dr. Praveen Kumar. According to what Dr. Kumar had told at that time, Dr. Mahto was hit by one bullet in the right side of the chest, the second in the palm of the left hand, the third near the right knee and the fourth bullet in the right shoulder. It was a 7.9 bore bullet. No bullet was stuck in his body. The bullet that hit the chest also passed through. The criminals also snatched his licensed revolver.
