Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed, Senior Joint Secretary General of BNP, said that pardoning the killers of those who were shot and killed on the orders of Sheikh Hasina during the student-Janata movement would be unfair to the souls of the victims. He said, every murder and every crime should be tried by tribunal. If the criminals including Sheikh Hasina are not prosecuted then Bangladesh will become a graveyard.
He said these things while handing over the donation to the father of Golam Rabbani, who was killed in the agitation on behalf of BNP Acting Chairman Tariq Rahman on Wednesday (September 4).
Ruhul Kabir Rizvi went to the family business of Golam Rabbanis in Shahbagh area of the capital and handed over the donation money.
Meanwhile, Rizvi said, “I have said before that no innocent person should be a victim of the case.” But those who are guilty cannot be forgiven. He said to BNP leaders and activists, none of you will take the law into your hands. Let law enforcement do their job. Acting chairman of the party Deshanayak Tariq Rahman has given a strong message in this regard.
