News from Angola – The First National Secretary of JMPLA received, Crispiniano dos Santos, received in audience this Wednesday, in Luanda, Demarte Pena, Champion of Mixed Martial Arts, in an act that took place in Complexo Futungo II.
The young Angolan won the world title at the 12th edition of the ARES Fighting Championship, in Paris.
The boxer, who landed on Tuesday at 4 de Fevereiro International Airport, in Luanda, flanked by fans, presented a set of initiatives to the First National Secretary of JMPLA, with emphasis on the prospect of building a Sports Academy, aimed at identifying and preparing new talents for the great challenges of the sporting universe.
During the dialogue, Demarte Pena highlighted some of the difficulties she has encountered in getting closer to some Public Administration Sectors to carry out actions of a social nature, but promised to continue to take the “Made in Angola” brand across borders, especially with the UFC, an organization of which it will become a part.
For his part, Crispiniano dos Santos, advanced that it is possible and opportune to work so that the initiatives are materialized and assured commitment of the Organization that he directs to, above all, to make the necessary rapprochement between the Champion and the Public and Private Institutions dedicated to Sport.
The politician congratulated all the dedication and professionalism of the young sportsman, asking him to remain firm in the mission of raising the flag of Angola ever higher.
