Manchester won the match by three unanswered goals. Cristiano scored the third goal. Diego Dalot scored the first goal in the 44th minute of the match at Manchester’s Old Trafford. The second goal was scored by Marcus Rashford in the 64th minute. Cristiano scored in the 81st minute after missing some chances in the first half. Manchester United kept their pre-quarter chances alive with this win.
Meanwhile, in another Europa League match, English club Arsenal lost 2-0 to Dutch club PSV Eindhoven. PSV’s goals were scored by Veerman in the 55th minute and De Jong in the 63rd minute. In another match, Real Sociedad beat Omonia Nicosia 2-0.
