“The lack of a real striker at Arsenal came back to haunt us. So many opportunities in the first half, but none were taken advantage of. [Olie] Watkins played for us, we would have won this, 3-0”, he began by writing on the social network ‘X’, formerly Twitter.
In response to a comment that said to ask “your Ronaldo to come and help”, the British journalist didn’t stay and said: “I think that Cristiano Ronaldo would score more than 25 goals per season, in our team, with the balls that reach him. Arsenal’s refusal to prioritize a top striker is a huge blind spot.”
