Global star Cristiano Ronaldo has launched his own YouTube channel. Just a few hours after the announcement on his social media accounts, the Portuguese already had several million subscribers. The name of his channel: “UR Cristiano” (translated: “You are Cristiano”).
The 39-year-old, who starts the season with his Saudi club Al-Nassr on Thursday, immediately posted several videos online, including with his partner Georgina Rodríguez and his son Cristiano Jr.
“The wait is over. My YouTube channel is here,” Ronaldo wrote on Instagram. He already has 636 million fans there. 112.5 million users follow him on the X platform, and 170 million fans are connected to him on Facebook.
On the new channel, Ronaldo wants to show a side of himself that many people have not yet seen. In addition to sport, it will also cover nutrition, wellness, education and topics such as family. Interviews with various guests are also planned. “I’ve had it in my head for a long time, but now we finally have the opportunity to make it happen,” explained Ronaldo.
