The President of the Senate, Cristina Fernandez de Kirchnerand the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Sergio Massaagreed this afternoon to have a salary increase of $20,000 to legislative employees, retroactive from this month. The benefit it will not contemplate the legislators and the political staff of Congress.
The joint decision adopted by Cristina Kirchner and Massa surprises in the midst of the joint negotiations that started in the different activities and would set a pattern in said negotiations. The parity between the legislative union, led by Norberto Di Prosperoand the driving of both cameras still does not start.
According to the spokespersons of the presidents of both chambers, the legislators of both chambers, the superior authorities and the political staff of the Honorable Congress of the Nation will be excluded from the measure.
