San Antonio Unido is considering transferring Cristóbal Campos to another health center so that “he can be treated during the next stage of his recovery.”

Cristóbal Campos, goalkeeper of San Antonio Unido (SAU), underwent a new surgical intervention, after the serious traffic accident that occurred early Monday morning, which forced doctors at the former Posta Central to reimplant his right foot.

Guillermo Lee, president of the SAU, told CHV that “the family is very grateful, in fact they have asked us to take on the role of spokesperson. We met with the doctors and then we passed on the information to them, so the family is at peace.”

The leader is analyzing the transfer of Cristóbal Campos to another health center so that “he can be treated in the next stage of recovery, because in the end this is an urgent case that was treated in the best way possible, but we have to keep moving forward and we are hopeful that this will be a slow process, but we are hopeful that he will return to playing football and defending our shirt.”

Regarding the new surgery that the footballer underwent, Lee said that “he lost a lot of blood during the operation. Thanks to all the people who arrived yesterday we didn’t have any stock problems, let’s put it that way.”

For its part, the former Posta Central explained that “these surgeries are quite complex, they are a specialized team of vascular surgeons, neurosurgeons, peripheral nerve specialists, traumatologists specializing in foot and plastic surgery who made progress in the reconstructive issue and improved the viability of Cristóbal’s limb a little.”

“We did some subsequent imaging tests and there was no evidence of any major damage to other structures of the body. We can say that the surgeries have been successful, but we must be cautious about the vital prognosis of the limb,” added the enclosure.
