DIG/ A delegation from Heling Minerals Gabon, a mining company of French origin, met with the Minister of Mines, Gilles Nembé, on June 27, 2024.
The French industrialist was there to present the progress on the critical metals exploration projects that it has been carrying out in the country for a little over three years.
The company, which holds two mining research permits, aims to evaluate and characterize the critical metals potentially present in the mineralized sands resulting from the erosion of the confines of the Monts de Cristal and drained by the Komo and Noya rivers of Gabon.
The first results of chemical analyses are encouraging, but there is still work to be done to quantify the different accumulations and assess the economic viability of these deposits.
Heling Minerals Gabon reaffirmed to the Minister of Mines its commitment to corporate ethics, respect for local populations, and the development of the Gabonese economy.
The company thus cooperates transparently with the ministerial department, regularly sharing the results of its operations on the ground.
Heling Minerals relies on the expertise of its staff to develop innovative and competitive solutions. But above all, to find significant quantities of critical metals, which play a major role in the energy transition by contributing to the reduction of emissions linked to industrial activities.
Minister Gilles Nembe intends to speed up the procedures necessary for the completion of these projects, in particular the renewal of research permits and the conclusion of the related mining exploration agreements.
