Hyderabad police have registered a case against actor Siddharth for allegedly criticizing badminton player Saina Nehwal.
Badminton player Saina Nehwal has taken to her Twitter page to strongly condemn the Prime Minister’s lack of security in the state of Punjab. A tweet posted by actor Siddharth caused a great deal of controversy. She was strongly condemned by many, including Saina’s husband Parupalli Kashyap, political figures and cinema celebrities.
In the meantime, actor Siddharth has released a letter apologizing for his post. In it, he said he apologized for the rude joke he had written and regretted it for not including the right comment. Saina responded by saying that she accepted Siddharth’s forgiveness and may God bless him.
The Hyderabad Cyber Crime Police have registered a case against Siddharth following a complaint lodged by Kadapa-based Hindu Jana Shakti Prerena. Apart from this, the Chennai police have also started an investigation into Siddharth’s registration
