After it became known what Vice President Francia Márquez thought about the criticism received in recent months, after the country learned that she was arriving by helicopter at her home in Dapa, in Yumbo, Valle del Cauca, new accusations reached her.
Márquez clarified that he uses this means of transport for security, and that despite the objections that this has generated, “in bad (….) they can cry, they can scream, they can do whatever they want. They can sue me if they want, and let a judge determine if I’m doing something illegal or not.” said.
Opinions against his statements did not wait. Most have been expressed through Twitter, where some of its users have called it “haughty”, “arriviste” and that it should not have defended itself in such a way in the face of the discontent that exists in a part of the Colombian population due to the expense that some consider unnecessary. However, the vice president has also received messages of support and defense.
The house in which he lives is not his property, he pays rent, and after having been the victim of an attack, he says that he has made such a decision to demand that his safety be guaranteed. The vice president will continue to use this service.
