jpnn.comJAKARTA – Comedian Marshel Widianto responded to Nikita Mirzani’s criticism of his nomination as Deputy Mayor of South Tangerang (Tangsel).
Meanwhile, Marshel was supported by the Gerindra Party, paired with Ahmad Riza Patria, for the South Tangerang Mayor/Deputy Mayor Election (Pilwalkot).
Marshel Widianto did not seem offended by the harsh criticism expressed by Nikita Mirzani and Pandji Pragiwaksono.
“I am actually grateful, not only to Kak Niki, but also to Kak Panji who you could say is my senior in stand-up comedy,” said Marshel, to the media crew in Jakarta, recently.
The celebrity, who was born on May 30, 1996, considered the criticism as a spur to become a better person.
“Criticism can be better and become a slap. I admit to having a bad past,” said Marshel Widianto.
Inspired by a statement by Chinese entrepreneur Jack Ma, Marshel said that not everyone makes the wrong choice.
“Life, yes, has wrong choices, but we can learn from mistakes,” Marshel said.
