So far 29 lakh people have been affected by flash floods in eight districts of the country. Two died. The Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief gave this information in a press conference on the ongoing flood situation at the Secretariat on Thursday.

Actress Bubli published some pictures of the flood on Facebook on Wednesday (August 21) evening. The pictures show that the flood water is entering the township at a high speed. Many are running to safe shelter to save their lives. Many have taken refuge in boats to evacuate their livestock to safety. All together, a bleak picture has emerged.
