jpnn.comJAKARTA – Dangdut singer Machica Mochtar is grateful that her son, Muhammad Iqbal Ramadhan, is still safe, even though he has bruises on several parts of his body.

Muhammad Iqbal Ramadhan is suspected of experiencing violence while attending a demonstration to reject the revision of the Regional Election Law at the Indonesian House of Representatives, Jakarta, last Thursday (22/8).

Machica Mochtar did not deny that she cried when she finally met her son.

The reason is, there was no news of Iqbal after the demonstration, until finally his mother found out that he was at Polda Metro Jaya.

“I cried too, my child was treated like that, but I said, thank God you are safe,” said Machica Mochtar at Polda Metro Jaya, South Jakarta, Friday (23/8) evening.

He said his son suffered cuts and bruises, but he was grateful to have him back home.

“Even though there are wounds, bruises, broken bones, I am still grateful, O Allah, my child is still safe,” said Machica Mochtar.

He said that his son experienced violence by officers. As a result, Iqbal suffered injuries in several parts of his body.

Machica Mochtar is grateful that her son, Muhammad Iqbal Ramadhan, is still safe, even though he has bruises on several parts of his body.
