Connection with the visit of the EP delegation last week

Regarding the trip of the EP’s budget control committee to Budapest last week, the state secretary said that, unfortunately, there is a connection between the delegation’s visit and the EP’s report from several points of view. – While the government received the delegation constructively, the committee was guarded by two Hungarian, left-wing EP representatives, Sándor Rónai from the DK, and Katalin Cseh, a Momentum politician, who was involved in suspicion of corruption through her family company precisely in connection with the EU funds. This also shows that the goal of the budget control committee of the European Parliament was not to reveal the real facts, but to rationalize why the EU funds going to Hungary should not be transferred, the state secretary pointed out.

According to him, it is particularly distasteful that it was Katalin Čeh of the moment who was involved in suspicion of corruption in connection with the use of EU funds, who accompanied the committee controlling the use of EU funds.

How did this not bother the delegation? It is possible that the EP committee was not even interested in the facts, but that this was a visit based on left-wing prejudices and devoid of facts, for which they wanted to use Budapest as a stage, and perhaps the judgment was already made before the visit – noted Csaba Latorcai.
