This meeting, the first of its kind, also marks the launch of periodic meetings of the presidents of the Arab Educational Councils in order to strengthen regional cooperation in the fields of education and teaching, create solid networks for the exchange of experiences and successful practices and develop the necessary strategies to improve educational systems in Arab countries, according to the same source.
After the opening session, the Secretary General of the Council presented a presentation on the Moroccan experience in the development of the education, training and scientific research system, the statement said, adding that he also highlighted the role of the CSEFRS within the education system, its status, its constitutional missions and its pluralist structure.
In his speech, the Secretary-General of the Council highlighted the challenges that must be faced in order to achieve the principle of equal opportunities in access to quality education.
