This evening, August 12, the first three episodes of the third season of CSI: Vegas, the sequel to the famous series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, will air. Here’s a preview of what to expect.

The third season of CSI: Vegas debuts today at 9:00 PM on Rai 2, in its absolute first showing. The series will continue with new episodes on Sunday the 18th, Monday the 19th, and Sunday the 25th of August. This sequel takes fans back to frenetic and mysterious Las Vegas, the city where it all began. Here, a new series of intricate cases awaits resolution by the team led by the fearless Maxine Roby, portrayed by Paula Newsome.
In the first episode of the evening, titled White Lies, the CSI team must exonerate Joshua Folsom, who has been arrested for the murder of Kahn, the man responsible for his mother’s death. The search for the real murderer becomes complicated when Trey, personally involved in the same case, mysteriously disappears without a trace.
The second episode, Scars, sees Catherine Willows determined to settle the score with the dangerous drug trafficker Raphael Tarquenio, portrayed by actor Benito Martinez. The investigation stems from a case dating back five years. The clues lead the team inside a college. Here, agents discover new elements that give a new momentum to the investigations.
Finally, the third episode of the evening, Mouse Trap, focuses on a series of murders involving two impersonators of Frank Sinatra and Joey Bishop. Their bodies are found walled up inside a building, and the suspicions fall on the members of an agency specializing in low-cost impersonators.
