The CSKA team won the eighth edition of the football tournament in memory of Trifon Ivanov, held today at the “Ivaylo” stadium. Six teams of children born after January 1, 2013 participated in the competition, divided into two preliminary groups.
In the first group, the opponents proved to be extremely equal and the final classification was determined by goal difference. The winner was “Ludogorets” (Razgrad), who beat the capital’s “Levski” 4:1 and lost 0:1 to “Lokomotiv” (G. Oryahovitsa). 1 and remained in third place in their group.
In the second group, the draw divided Eter VT, Yantra 2019 (Gabrovo) and CSKA. Here, the capital’s “armies” were above everyone, outplaying the “violets” with 5:1 and the Gabrovsi with 9:0. The boys from Veliko Tarnovo beat “Yantra 2019” with 4:0 and ranked second. After the matches in the groups, the places between first and sixth were distributed. CSKA became the champion after 3:0 against “Ludogorets”, Christian Ivanov scored a hat trick. For the third place, “Levski” had no problems with “Eter VT” and won 8:1, and “Lokomotiv” took “Yantra” 5-6 2019″ with 12:0.
The winner of the special “Trifon Ivanov” prize was Konstantin Ivanov from CSKA, who was awarded by the daughter of the “iron” defender Marina Ivanova. She and deputy the mayor of the Municipality of Veliko Tarnovo Georgi Nedev awarded the winners with the cup. The awards were also presented by the chairman of the Zonal Council of the BFS in V.
