Instead of waiting for the government for all the work, the district administration has planned to carry out the ‘Namaku Name’ project and social responsibility project. is coming For this purpose, 40 different projects were developed and explained to them. The meeting was held yesterday at the Coimbatore Collector’s office. Collector Sameeran and DRO, Leela Alex explained about the projects. ‘Coimbatore Thai Care’, Multi Specialty Intervention Center, Paralyms Sport Academy, Residence for the differently abled, 80 beds for the poor and needy at Pachinampathi near Alandara to take care of pregnant women who require more complex treatment. Funding has been sought for various works including construction of houses, provision of drinking water supply, sanitation and electricity connection to 64 houses to be constructed in Moongilmadai Kuttai, additional classroom and laboratory in Puliyakulam Corporation School, conversion of RS Puram Corporation School into a model school, maintenance and construction of toilet complex in Avarampalayam Corporation Primary School. .
Ravindran, secretary of the Rock organization, said, “As a community responsibility fund, up to 30 crore rupees goes from Coimbatore alone in a year. If that amount is concentrated, we can do essential work for Coimbatore. The district administration has taken the initiative for that. If the works in the list are done, the infrastructure facilities will be improved,” he said.
