Javier Fontcuberta, new general manager of Cuatrecasas
As the ARA advanced, the lawyer Javier Fontcuberta will be the new general manager of the Catalan law firm Cuatrecasas. At the same time, Luis Pérez de Ayala has been appointed vice-president of the firm. Naturgy appoints Raúl Suárez and Mònica Puente to head the distributors in Spain
Naturgy has appointed Raúl Suárez as the new CEO of Nedgia, the group’s gas distributor in Spain, and Mònica Puente will be the new chief executive of UFD, its electricity distributor. Suárez has held positions of responsibility in the group for more than 20 years, both in Spain and in Latin America, most recently at the head of UFD. Suárez is a bridge and road engineer and will replace Narcís de Carreras, who is leaving the company. On the other hand, Mònica Puente replaces Raúl Suárez at the head of the UFD electric company. Jaime Aguirre de Cárcer, new president of Mutua Universal replacing Juan Echevarría
Juan Echevarría Puig, president of Mutua Universal since 2004, has voluntarily resigned from the position of president at the age of 96. Wallbox appoints Cesar Ruipérez as a member of the board of directors

Mangopay signs Carlos Sánchez Arruti as new financial director
Platform-specific payments infrastructure provider Mangopay has signed former Amazon CFO Carlos Sánchez Arruti as its new CFO. The appointment follows the company’s global expansion following the acquisition of Nethone and the addition this year of a new chief technology officer, chief revenue officer and general counsel. Before his time at Amazon, Sánchez Arruti also served two years as vice president of finance at American Express, and spent 14 years at GE Capital.
Antoni Monés, new president of the Foundation for Industry
The Fundació per la Indústria de Sabadell has appointed Antoni Monés as the new president of the entity. Monés is a textile entrepreneur and investor in venture capital and the environment, and belongs to the second generation of the textile company Monés Monlan. The firm, founded in 1947, is dedicated to the preparation and international marketing of European wool for industrial use. The new president has a degree in economic sciences from the UAB and has been patron of the Fundació per la Indústria since its creation. He is also part of the board of trustees of the Avan Foundation and the Bosch i Cardellach Foundation. Monés will replace Miquel Ribé, president of the foundation from June 2021.
