The leading Cuban actress Diana Rosa Suárez, 80, returned to social networks to thank all those who have been concerned about her health, after being hospitalized in Guyana due to a heart attack, which was not detected during her stay in Cuba.
From his bed in the Georgetown hospital, Suárez sent an encouraging message to his followers through a video posted on Facebook by Cuban journalist Julita Osendi.
“I think that I am going to be free once again, that God always accompanies me. A kiss and blessings for everyone,” said the actress, who was very optimistic about her recovery.
The news was a relief for his fans, who closely followed his health, especially after a heart attack caused complications such as pneumonia.
The worsening condition of the actress had generated great concern among her fans and relatives.
Last Friday, the Cuban embassy in Guyana reported that Suárez was transferred to the Georgetown public hospital, where she receives medical attention from Cuban specialists who are providing their services in the region.
According to the official statement, the actress is stable and under specialized medical supervision.
The Cuban ambassador in Guyana also visited the artist, ensuring that she maintains a positive mental state and that her evolution is being closely monitored.
