A 30-year-old Cuban citizen was arrested in the city of Catania, Sicily, after being found walking naked through the streets.
According to local reports, the event took place on Via Messina, a busy street near a gym and a supermarket, where the man was surprised by a patrol from the Borgo Ognina police station.
Police reports highlight that the individual was walking around with his pants lowered to his knees, exposing his private parts in the presence of several passers-by, including minors.
The officers acted immediately, urging the man to get dressed. However, he responded with hostility, defying police authority and refusing to provide his identification.
The situation escalated quickly, leading officers to arrest him and transfer him to the Scientific Police for identification and additional checks.
During the process, it was discovered that the man was residing irregularly in the country, as he lacked the necessary residence permit.
Previously, the Quaestor of Catania had issued an order for him to leave Italian territory, a directive that the Cuban dared to disobey.
As a result, the Cuban now faces charges of obscene acts in a public place, resistance to authority and violation of the expulsion order.
In recent times, several Cubans have been arrested in different areas of Italy and for various crimes.
One of the latest cases occurred in the capital, Rome, when three Antilleans were intercepted by security agencies after being discovered robbing elderly people in supermarkets.
