A Cuban made a desperate call on social networks to recover his lost dog in Havana, offering a $50 reward for information that helps find him.

The user, identified on Facebook as “El Tigre”, stated that the furry animal disappeared in the municipality of La Lisa, and related how his children call him every night, which naturally causes him great sadness.

In addition, he has stated that he already has clues about who could have his pet and has urged that person to return the dog.

“Please, if anyone knows or sees him, call 54317900, my children go to bed and call him, that makes me feel bad. I give a reward of 50 dollars, it was lost because of La Lisa; It’s mochito. Thank you, help me”he said in a first publication.

In another post, the man specified that the canine responds to the name “Tobi“, adding that the person who has it in his possession refuses to return it.

“Share this little dog who is still lost, and whoever has him does not want to return him to his two little human brothers who suffer his absence every day. Go to La Lisa, his name is Tobi, he is mochito 54317900. I will reward anyone who informs me, $50.”he emphasized.

In recent months, several similar cases have been recorded, such as that of a family in Sancti Spíritus that offered 200 dollars for their dog and another of a young man who promised 50,000 pesos in Havana.

Unfortunately, cases like these become more important if we take into account the animal abuse that has occurred in Cuba in recent times, where these innocent beings are beaten or abandoned to their fate.

Despite all this, the Havana authorities do nothing to stop animal abuse.
