The incident, in which three people were thrown 200 meters away from the place where the fire broke out, has caused tragedy in Cuddalore. All three victims were pronounced dead at the scene. And some have been injured.
Vanitha is making fireworks used for temple festivals in M.Pudur area of Cuddalore district. While getting permission today and working there, a sudden fire broke out. In which the building has become ground level. Sathyaraj, who was working there at the time of the blast, had his body scattered and fell 200 meters away. Also, Ambika and Chitra have been thrown away. Not only these, a woman named Vasantha was seriously injured. Vaithiyalingam, who came to buy fireworks, was also injured. Sathyaraj, Ambika and Chitra died on the spot.
Vasantha has also been admitted to Cuddalore Government Hospital for medical treatment. People in the surrounding area have been running around hearing the sound of the explosion. But for more than 20 minutes the explosion did not subside and exploded terribly. As a result, they have not been able to recover the injured.

Only after the explosion subsided did the police fire department take action at the scene. The villagers informed that they were able to recover the body only after that. No such incident has been reported in the area, locals said.
Police are investigating whether there was only the permitted quantity of ammunition or additional ammunition and what caused the accident. Cuddalore District SP Shakthi Ganesan came to the spot and conducted an investigation.
