Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum and National Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Azret Sultan” (Kazakhstan) signed a Memorandum about mutual understanding and cooperation.
As Day.Az was informed from the museum, the memorandum was signed with the aim of developing and expanding bilateral fruitful relations, cooperation in the field of science, culture, and creating appropriate opportunities for this.
The parties agreed to conduct fundamental research in the field of museum affairs, exchange knowledge between specialists in order to study mutual experience, organize research conferences and seminars for them on mutual initiative. The document also provides for other important areas of museum work, the implementation of joint exhibition projects, the development of exhibition plans and the exchange of scientific and methodological literature between the parties.
Director of the Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum Amina Melikova and director of the National Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Azret Sultan” Maulen Sadykbekov expressed confidence that along with cooperation between museums, the Memorandum will also contribute to the development of cultural ties between the two countries.
