Teh Ministry of Culture of the Government of Mexicothrough the National Cinemathequewill pay tribute to the recently deceased actress silvia Pinal Hidalgolast diva and total emblem of Mexican cinema, among the December 11 and 22 of the current year.
This cycle-tribute brings together eleven essential films from his filmography that expose his talent in different genres and under the direction of masters of Mexican and international cinema, such as Luis Buñuel, Emilio “El Indio” Fernández, Juan Ibáñez and Gilberto Martínez Solaresthe cultural institutions pointed out in a statement.

Silvia Pinal Hidalgo was (and always will be) one of the greatest divas of the Golden Age. He has more than 70 years of career in the film industry, theater, radio and television. As far as cinema is concerned, emblematic titles stand out that will be screened in this tribute, such as:

Given the formats in which the films will be presented (35mm, 16mm, DCP), all will be made in room 9 of the National cinematheque of Mexicoto preserve the visual richness of said projections.
