If you want to learn something but also have a laugh, “Cunk on Earth” is the series for you. The show directed by Christian Watt and written by Jason Hazeley (together with colleagues such as Charlie Brooker, creator of “Black Mirror”) will trace the history of the Earth from the dawn of humanity to today, involving dozens of experts, including historians and academics, to understand some of the most influential passages of our existence. It would seem like a normal documentary so far, except that one of the most bizarre protagonists of English comedy is conducting the interviews.
