The TV went, Kora. Everything has an end. What to do? Not worth fixing. Buy a new TV. I ran to an electrical warehouse branch near my house in Netanya to purchase a TV that would fit the dimensions of the room, in our case 40 inches. nothing. They are all much bigger. At my request, the seller checked the inventory in other branches and found the requested product in the Tel Aviv branch. Bingo. The seller called the branch to make sure the product was available, and when she answered yes, she asked me to make the transaction through her. Fair, I thought to Tommy, she bothered and searched and called, she deserves to get the commission for the purchase.

I gave the credit information, received an order number, and the next day I went to the Mahesh Elektrik branch in Tel Aviv to receive the TV made in China, marketed by Electra. The procedure was short, they opened the original packaging to make sure there was no breakage and that all the parts were present, and I happily drove back to my house with the TV firmly strapped in the back seat.

I got home, the TV was respectfully placed in its designated place, and we tried to turn it on. Immediately the problem arose. The remote doesn’t work. There is also no connection between him and the television. We tried changing the batteries, but the remote is stuck with Mario. Does not work.

We called the saleswoman at the Netanya branch, and she directed us to the branch where we picked up the device, who directed us to Electra’s service department. To our surprise, we were asked by the person who answered us if the remote that was attached to the TV was short or long. Since it seemed quite long, we answered accordingly, and then it turned out that there is a known problem with the long remotes, we need to change to a short remote and everything will fall into place safely.

I asked why the remote was not replaced at the time of purchase if the problem was known, and the answer was that it was packed before it became clear that there was a problem. Tamanhi: After all, the original packaging is opened to check the TV’s condition, and the problem with the remote is already known to you, why weren’t the remotes replaced at the same time?

We gathered our strength and called the seller from the Netanya branch again. “We don’t sell remotes here,” she said. “Call the branch where you picked up the TV.” We asked for the phone number of the Tel Aviv branch, and the answer was – the number appears on the Internet, and the call was disconnected. Indeed, exemplary service.

I’ll cut the story short for you: the Tel Aviv branch referred us to the service, and someone there justified the salary she receives, transferred the matter to where she transferred it, and came back to us with the happy news that they will send the short remote to Netanya, and we will receive an email notification when it arrives. A week has passed, no voice and no email. shall we not be angry?

Electric Warehouses responded: “All that is required in this case is to update a version of the screen, but unfortunately this was not passed on to the customer. We apologize for what has been described, which does not represent the company’s policy and we are working to ensure that this type of case does not happen again.”
