jpnn.comBEKASI – Customs conducted a working visit (Kunker) to cigarette factories in the Bekasi and Ponorogo areas.

The working visit was carried out in order to enforce regulations in the field of excise and increase production capacity in the tobacco industry sector.

Head of the Public Relations and Customs Extension Sub-Directorate, Budi Prasetiyo, said that this visit was a routine activity carried out by Customs to review factory activities and establish communication with service users.

Wednesday (11/9), Bekasi Customs conducted a working visit to one of the excise goods (BKC) entrepreneurs in its supervision area, namely PT Delta Djakarta Tbk.

The company is a producer of beverages containing ethyl alcohol (MMEA) based in Bekasi.

During the visit, it was recorded that the company contributed IDR 305,382,579,000.00 or 37.52 percent of the Bekasi Customs excise revenue target in 2024.

“This activity is one of our concerns, of course, to continue assisting companies receiving fiscal facilities in running their business processes, because a business process that runs well will certainly produce a large contribution to the country,” said the Head of the Bekasi Customs Office, Yanti Sarmuhidayanti.

Similar activities were also carried out by the Head of the Probolinggo Customs Office, Bagus Sulistijono, by visiting four cigarette factories in his work area.
