- The ANO movement won the regional elections in the Zlín region with a gain of 37.27 percent of the vote.

“We are targeting the three biggest parties. We are trying to create a coalition based on what has been done here in the region,” Showed Holiš. “We are still waiting for the statement of the KDU-ČSL if they are able to accept two councilors,” he says.
People at the meeting without Chunca?
According to him, the TÁ movement will now discuss the names and proposals it has received. “I believe we will conclude slowly on Wednesday,” Holiš said.
According to iDnes.cz, the People’s Party showed interest in a coalition government, and negotiations took place with ANO without Čunk. “They surprised me. We have to respond to it. We will seriously consider it, it is one of the working options,” mentioned for iDnes.cz Holy.
“We were based on the ODS and STAN construction. The people surprised us with everything they planned. It will determine whether they can accept having two advisers. We look at 5 consultants, 2 and then 2 from other parties. If people respect that, we will consider them seriously,” said Holiš.
Čunek mentioned the tsunami YES
“YES is a tsunami. As there was a blue tsunami in ODS, a tsunami of social democracy, it is now a tsunami of YES,” Čunek responded to the election result, which spoke about the failure.
“There would be success if we won, or at least the difference between us was smaller. But I am a realist, if I look at other regions, I have to say that the voters probably wanted to say something to the government, so they did, and we’re a bit of a victim of that,” said Čunek.
According to him, ANO is successful throughout the country. “We were not fighting (in the region) with specific people, but with the popularity of ANO, which is similar throughout the Czech Republic,” said Chunek. However, he was surprised by the YES result. “Not just here, but everywhere. I knew they would dominate, but I didn’t expect it to be this big“, he expressed.
He defended the senatorial seat in the 1st round
The surprise in the region for him was that the Peers, who were in the coalition government, failed, but they did not cross the five percent threshold now. “I thought they would narrowly reach the council. It’s no surprise to the others,” said the former governor.
On the other hand, Čunek succeeded in the 1st round of the Senate elections. Čunek in Vsetín received 16,414 votes and 56.76% he clearly defended the archaeological mandate.
Both STAN and ODS want to cooperate with ANO
The leader of STAN, the mayor of Slavičín in the Zlín region, Tomáš Chmel, confirmed his interest in cooperation with ANO. “The motivation is also to rule out the possibility of support from extremist government parties,” mentioned Chmela. The STAN movement joined TOP 09 and the ZVUK 12 movement.

Election Jersey Vondraček supported his friend Holiš
Holiš received the most preferential votes in the regional elections in the Zlín Region, 9,695 in total. Čunek finished second with 8,103 votes. The former governor, Vsetín mayor and senator traditionally receive many preferential votes in elections, four years ago, Čunek had 9,083 in the regional elections, four years before 14,468then most in the Republic.
The candidate for the Zlín regional elections was the Member of Parliament and former Speaker of the Association of Deputies Radek Vondráček (ANO), was 45th on the movement’s list of candidates, thanks to 3192 reference votes, he finished second behind Holiš.
