DBS and POSB e-banking systems are reported to be secure and not subject to cyber attacks.
DBS Bank said on its Facebook page that even though e-banking services have returned to normal, the 2-day disruption is unacceptable.
It said steps would be taken to prevent it from happening again.
It apologized for the interruption.
The bank said the suspension was due to a malfunction in the control features.
It ensured that customers’ money was safe.
Meanwhile, the Monetary Board of Singapore said it would consider taking appropriate oversight action in connection with the service disruption.
