Bhopal: With the increasing use of modern technology, cyber crime has become the biggest challenge these days. These online frauds are duping even educated people. Cyber criminals adopt new methods every day and take away people’s hard-earned money in one go. Many such cases are coming to the notice of the police every day. But the action of the cyber police in these cases is even more surprising.
In fact, in the last six months, every day more than 20 cyber crime victims are approaching the cyber police with their complaints. These cases are reaching the cyber crime police cell of the capital Bhopal. However, it is a different matter that in these six months, the cyber police has registered FIRs in only 30 cases.
Only 30 FIRs were registered
Every day there is a long queue of cyber fraud victims in the cyber crime cell located in Kohefiza, Bhopal. But to keep the records of the cyber cell clean, the police registers FIRs only in such cases. Cases which are considered easy to solve. Or which have a link with the previous cases. This is the reason that only 30 FIRs have been registered in the cyber crime cell this year despite thousands of complaints.

Cyber police send them to local police station. According to cyber experts, when the victims of online fraud approach cyber cell with their grievances, they are sent to the local police station and bank. According to the rules, only the case of fraud of 25 thousand rupees or less is registered in the local police station. But many times, despite the fraud of more than 25 thousand, the cyber crime cell sends them to the local police station for FIR.
