jpnn.comJAKARTA – PT Kharismaworld Ednik Notoroyo (KEN) presents the CyberGhost service virtual private network (VPN) in the Indonesian market.

The service is said to be able to prevent criminal acts when users use public WiFi facilities.

PT KEN CEO Eddy Cahyono said the CyberGhost VPN service can encrypt all data transmitted from your device to the internet.

According to him, currently many places such as cafes, libraries, schools and hospitals currently provide free wifi.

The presence of WiFi is a form of public facility that they provide.

“However, without realizing it, there are many dangers lurking when using public Wi-Fi. The threats range from phishing, malware, monitoring of online activities from third parties known as “man in the middle attacks” or often called MitM,” said Eddy in his press release, Monday (19/8).

He added that MitM is one of the crimes in cyberspace.

The perpetrator will infiltrate the network and intercept “communication” between network users and the web server.
