Cybersecurity: in Gennevilliers, a free school teaches the art of fighting computer hackers

Today, they are 50 students. They will be tripled at the start of the school year in September 2023 and, in the long term, around 500 according to forecasts. While web hackers are constantly more numerous and more impactful, and cybercrime is exploding, especially against businesses and institutions, the response will come in part from Gennevilliers (Hauts-de-Seine). It is in this town that a new school specializing in cybersecurity was established in September 2022, Oteria Cyber ​​School. “This sector is more and more strategic and there is a shortage of talent,” says Hugues Spriet, co-founder and co-director of the school with Romain Burel.
