Eurovision 2025: Theo Evan will represent Cyprus
Theo Evan will represent Cyprus in the upcoming Eurovision song contest 2025, as announced by the Public Radio and Television of Cyprus (RIK). The music competition will take place from May 13 to May 17 in Switzerland.
Specifically, as stated on the official website of the Eurovision song contest, Theo Evan is the first artist announced to participate in the upcoming 69th edition of the musical institution.
The song by Theo Evan, which will be released later, will be the 41st participation of Cyprus in the Eurovision song contest. To date, Cyprus’s best result in the Eurovision song contest was second place achieved in Lisbon in 2018, when Eleni Foureira sang “Fuego.” Since then, Cyprus has had four other entries that qualified for the grand final of the Eurovision song contest, with the most recent in 2024, when Silia Kapsis represented the country with the song “Liar,” finishing in 15th place with 78 points.

Theo Evan is a singer and dancer since the age of 7 and a songwriter since his teenage years. Theo Evan’s journey to the Eurovision song contest 2025 will be a new chapter in the history of an artist who has always had a passion for music.
Born in Nicosia, Theo Evan spent his early years taking dance lessons, singing in his school choir, and participating in numerous theatrical performances and talent shows across Cyprus, often winning awards and accolades for his efforts.
After graduating from The English School in Nicosia, Theo Evan moved to the USA to study music and performance at the internationally renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston. He graduated with honors and was an honorary guest at the university’s graduation ceremony on three occasions, alongside names such as Missy Elliot, Pharrell Williams, John Legend, and Justin Timberlake.
Theo Evan released his first single titled “The Wall” in 2021, and since then, he has followed up with many songs inspired by Stromae to Michael Jackson and reggaeton. In fact, Theo Evan also participated as a supporting actor in the successful HBO series “Euphoria.”
