Cyril Petit, editorial director of the “Journal du dimanche”, leaves his post

Appointed in October managing editor of the Sunday newspaper (JDD)Cyril Petit will leave his post on May 13, Agence France-Presse learned on Tuesday March 29 from a communicator of the owner of the newspaper, Lagardère News, in the process of being bought by Vivendi, the group of Vincent Bolloré. “It’s his decision, in agreement with the management”she explained.

This is the second major official to leave the newspaper since the beginning of the year. At the end of January, Jérôme Bellay, general manager of the newspaper, had given up his place, three months after his appointment, to Jérôme Béglé.
