Dabaiba calls for addressing the obstacles facing the National Cancer Institute

The head of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, stressed the need to address the obstacles facing the National Cancer Institute, provide treatment services to patients, and provide the necessary medicines and medical equipment needed to provide therapeutic doses for disease cases.

This came during a visit by Dabaiba to the National Cancer Institute, accompanied by the acting Minister of Finance, Mohamed Al-Shahoubi, to assess the conditions and needs of the institute.

During the visit, Dbeibah was briefed on the status of the institute’s executive plans, the semi-annual statistics for the year 2024 for diagnostic and therapeutic services, and the early detection program for cancer patients.

During his visit to the Children’s Oncology Department building, which was established in cooperation and partnership between the National Cancer Institute and the Misurata Free Zone, Dabaiba praised the great efforts made, and urged to start preparing it to provide its services as soon as possible.
