Dabaiba follows up on progress of coastal road development project

The Head of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, followed up on the progress of the project to implement the maintenance and development of the coastal road, during his meeting with the Transport Projects Implementation Agency, the consulting office in charge of the project, and the Follow-up Department of the Council of Ministers.

Al-Dabaiba stressed “the need for continuous follow-up by the consulting office and the technical departments of the Authority, to implement the project according to the approved timetable, directing the need to implement the integrated furnishing works for the road, including signboards, lighting, traffic signs, paint, protective metal fence and ground reflectors, due to their importance and giving them priority in implementation, and assigning the implementing companies to do so.”

The head of the Transport Projects Implementation Authority, Sami Al-Abash, presented “a technical, financial and time position for the project according to the geographical sectors, indicating that the project consists of 12 sectors implemented by 9 local companies and 3 Tunisian companies, and the overall completion rate of the project reaches 48.8%.”

Al-Abash pointed out that “6 sectors will be opened on December 24, and 6 other sectors will be opened on February 17 of next year.”
