Dabaiba offers condolences on death of former military prosecutor

The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Obaid Hamid Dabaiba, offered his condolences to the family of Major General Masoud Erhoma, the former military prosecutor who passed away yesterday.

Al-Dabaiba said: “The deceased, may God have mercy on him, had a rich history of giving in the national army, which contributed to ensuring justice, discipline, and the application of military law, and he sought to maintain integrity in legal procedures. We ask God to forgive him, have mercy on him, and pardon him, and inspire his family with patience and solace. To God we belong and to Him we shall return.”

It is noteworthy that the Military Prosecutor, Major General Masoud Rahuma, took the legal oath on August 23, 2021, before the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Minister of Defense, Mr. Abdul Hamid Dabaiba.

Major General Masoud Erhuma previously served as the military prosecutor during the Government of National Accord headed by Fayez al-Sarraj before leaving the position following a kidnapping incident he was subjected to on March 15, 2018.
