Dabaiba received a telegram of condolence from the Japanese Embassy in Libya, on the death of his son, “Abdul Rahman,” and a telegram from the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China to the State of Libya.
The Head of the Government of National Unity, Abdel Hamid Dabaiba, also received a telegram of condolence from the Secretary-General of the Arab Maghreb Union, Tariq bin Salem, and received condolences from the Second Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Misbah Douma Ouhaida.

Al-Dabaiba mourned his 36-year-old son, Abdul Rahman, after his death due to a health problem that afflicted him, and he was undergoing treatment in Turkey.
