Dabaiba reviews the strategy for developing the communications sector

Today, Monday, the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, chaired the General Assembly meeting of the Libyan Post, Telecommunications and Information Technology Holding Company, which was held at the company’s headquarters in Tripoli, in the presence of the Chairman and members of the General Assembly, and the Chairman and members of the Management Committee.

Al-Dabaiba reviewed the eight strategies for developing the communications sector, which include adopting a strategic vision for the sector 2030, enhancing cybersecurity, achieving economic efficiency, enhancing transparency and accountability, supporting innovation and technological development, and improving the quality of services, sustainable development, and social responsibility.

Integration with other government policies was also discussed, including supporting the government’s digital transformation and providing the necessary infrastructure for it.

The meeting discussed the latest developments in a number of strategic projects, in addition to the digital transformation projects implemented by the company in partnership with government institutions, including the Dawlaty platform project and the Developers Club, according to the government media office.
