Dabaiba stresses accelerating the pace of completion of the Third Ring Road

The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, issued instructions to the company implementing the Third Ring Road project to increase human elements, machinery and manufactured materials during the next phase and organize work in order to speed up completion.

This came during his meeting with the Housing and Utilities Projects Implementation Agency, the General Company for Water and Sanitation, the General Electricity Company, and the international consulting office “Hill International” supervising the project.

Al-Dabaiba stressed the need to intensify efforts to remove obstacles facing the project and accelerate the opening of paths, stressing the need to implement side water drainage networks along the road according to approved specifications.

For its part, the consulting office provided a briefing on the progress of the project according to the sectors and technical works completed on bridges and roads.

The Housing Projects Implementation Agency also presented a position on the implementation timetable and the progress of supplying manufactured materials, stressing the unification of efforts for implementation according to the approved program.

The project to implement the third ring road, which links the east of the capital, Tripoli, to its west, with a length of approximately 24 kilometers, is a very important project, and contributes to solving congestion.

The project began implementation on August 20 of last year, according to the Housing and Utilities Projects Implementation Agency, after the Cabinet granted permission to contract with a coalition of Egyptian companies (Orascom – Hassan Allam – Pioneers of Modern Engineering).
