In Cairo, the Head of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, visited the Libyan Investment Company, one of the subsidiaries of the Libyan Investment Authority, to see the progress of investment projects in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

During the visit, Dabaiba stressed “the importance of developing and diversifying investment, following up on the legal and administrative status of all companies, and standing up to those who try to tamper with them,” considering this “a national responsibility for all.”

He explained that “his visit comes to confirm the government’s plan to preserve Libyan investments abroad, and work to develop them through successful partnerships that achieve a good investment return,” stressing “the need to assign international and accredited auditing offices to prepare the consolidated lists, close the annual accounts, and disclose and be transparent about all procedures, profits and returns.”

For its part, the company’s technical management presented a light show, in which it explained “the status of investment projects, development and investment projects that were implemented, after Dabaiba’s instructions and directives in April 2021 during his visit to the company.”

During the visit, he was received by the Chairman of the Foundation, Ali Mahmoud, Member of the Management Committee, Mustafa Al-Manea, Chairman of the Management Committee of the Libyan Foreign Investment Company, Hamed Al-Hadhiri, and a number of the company’s employees.
