The Dacia Sandero has been the best-selling vehicle in Spain in October, with 3,059 units last month, 80.4% more year-on-year, surpassing the MG ZS after two consecutive months of leadership of the Chinese model, which has registered 2,421 registrations last month, a growth of 129.3%, while the Toyota Yaris Cross, with 1,819 registrations (+93.9%), occupies third position for the month.

According to data prepared by Ideauto for the associations of manufacturers (Anfac), dealers (Faconauto) and sellers (Ganvam), the Dacia Sandero accumulates 22,714 units sold between January and October and distances itself from its competitors, followed by the Seat Arona, which totaled 19,038 units until last month (+28.6%), and the Peugeot 2008, with 16,789 units (+30%).

In the accumulated period between January and October, Toyota consolidates its leadership as the brand that has registered the most vehicles in Spain, with a total of 66,775 cars (+11%), followed by Kia (55,514 units; +6.2%), Volkswagen (53,052 units; +7.7%), Peugeot (51,485 units; +10.3%) and Seat, with 49,891 units (+19.1), which completed the list of the five best-selling brands so far in anus.

For its part, the Ford Kuga was the best-selling plug-in hybrid in October, with 303 units and a growth of 298.7%, followed by the Peugeot 3008, with 299 units sold (+23.1%), and by the Kia Sportage, which has closed the ‘top 3’ with 272 units and a growth of 161.5%. The Porsche Cayenne (222 units; +335.3%) and the Mercedes GLC Class (203 units; +136.1%) close the list of the five best-selling PHEV models last month.

So far this year, the Chinese-Swedish Lynk & Co 01 model remains the best-selling plug-in hybrid model, with 3,750 units, 70.7% more; ahead of the Ford Kuga, with 3,486 units (+213.5%); of the Peugeot 3008, with 2,186 units (-3.4%); of the Kia Sportage, with 2,039 units (+157.1%), and the Volvo XC40, with 1,973 units (+86.1%).

In addition, the most popular non-plug-in hybrid models last month were the Toyota Yaris Cross, with 1,721 units, 88.7% more; the Toyota C-HR, with 1,688 units, 27.7% more; the Toyota Corolla, with 1,673 units, 39% more; the Nissan Qashqai, with 1,597 units, 77.6% more, and the Fiat 500, with 1,545 units, 64% more.

On the other hand, the best-selling non-plug-in hybrid model accumulated until October has been the Toyota C-HR, with 16,511 units (+16.6%), followed by the Toyota Corolla, with 15,759 units, 10% more.
